XeNeon, 2021
Designed for L0 brief ‘Xeno Geographies’The rationale for ‘XeNeon’ was to capture our local environment and distort it in such a way that it seems ‘outer planetary’. This task was set during the height of the pandemic, limiting us to explore our neighbourhood, and for me this meant exploring my local airport and capturing the neon lights that fill the sky. The supporting text for the publication outcome originates from the novel ‘Roadside Picnic’ by Boris Strugatsky & Arkady Strugatsky.
