Hear Hong Kong, 2021
Designed for L0 Final Major ProjectThe research for this project was mainly directed at the Constructivist movement of the early 20th Century, studying the works of Rodchenko and Lissitzky. By using similar compositioning, I produced a series of collage pieces that symbolise the persistent resistance exhibited by the people of Hong Kong against the Chinese government. Combining Constructivism with carboard and spraypaint as mediums is significant as they are all devices that are widely recognised to be symbols of protest against oppression.
