Hartcliffe Identity, 2021.
Designed for L1 brief ‘Bring the Margin to the Centre’How do you transform the reputation of an unattractive location? This task was to find the bright side of Hartcliffe, one of Bristol’s more neglected areas, and visualise it through a publication and supporting poster. The result explores a metaphor of how Hartcliffe’s residents use their home as a blank canvas to carve their own identity into, by creating detailed patterns in the grass using bikes, and painting huge murals that span across the area.
