Footprints, 2022
Designed for L2 brief ‘Film Response’‘Footprints’ is inspired by the 1955 independent film ‘Jedda’, which tells the story of an Aboriginal girl taken from her homeland and forced into western culture. By studying Aboriginal symbolism and native paint blowing techniques, I was able to subtlely represent the narrative, but with a modern approach that used spray paint and digital manipulation.
